Winter 2016
With the sad closure of 'Culver BC' Stanmore bought equipment like the steps and steel shed, and reusable parts of their anti-fox electric fence, to add to new components such as the 4 x 4 posts and steel wire. Harrow Council did the heavy work, concreting the main posts, and groups of members joined up to do the DIY each week, to move the installation forward. The fence became operational from Thursday 10th March 2016.
In February, the Council excavated the blocked land drain that floods near us, in the park, and after proposing one solution, they diverted it through 300 degrees and connected it to the culverted stream nearby. Hopefully the end of the annual flooding in the area of the Green.
