The Gus Harvey Mixed Drawn Pairs, - played with three rounds, two semi and a final, was expertly organised by Comp. Secretary Gilbert ,(with scoring helpers John and Naresh),  and fell on the hottest day of the year 32.5 deg at 4.30pm !  In a close final, on the last end, at 3  - 4 down Viv and Ray held two shots, with two bowls to come, when Viv (unfortunately) took the jack back and so went 1 shot down, giving the Cup to Margaret and Laurence.  So congratulations to Margaret for getting her name on silverware for the first time.
