No one was interested in doing the job when the lockdown began - then finally we had a contractor.
Availability of the materials was difficult & road works in Dennis Lane prevented delivery first time!
Setting up before June 1st opening -under Covid 19 conditions
As a goodwill gesture to our neighbours at Laburnham Court, the Council hedge on the boundary growing beyond the fence was cut back by a couple of members. Harrow Council removed the trimmed branches, after residents moved them to the road side. The Council will lop the hedge in the autumn.
Two speakers with bird calls to scare off the Crows pecking the Green for grubs were installed in mid August
but had to be shielded from our human neighbours with Straw bales.
