Founded in 1942, Stanmore Bowls Club welcomes those new to bowling as well as experienced bowlers from Stanmore and the surrounding areas.

The Green is open for a 22 week summer season starting at the last Saturday in April, and ending at the last weekend of September.
Bowling takes place at Roll ups every weekday afternoon from 2.00pm, until about 4.30pm with a break for Tea and a chat. We are planning to have one regular evening during the longest summer months with a 5.00 or 5.30pm start. We have use of the Green on Tuesday and Thursday mornings
for prearranged games and competitions or practice from 10.30am onwards. At weekends, morning and afternoon bowling is available subject to requirements of matches or special club games. You will need to acquire your own set of bowls, regulation shoes and clothing after you have qualified with our Free coaching course to join the club.

Special Jubilee Event Tuesday June 5th
An afternoon Bowls Drive with a red, white and blue theme for all bowlers, to be followed by a buffet supper. Guests,wives, partners, girls friends welcome to come!

- QUIZ and LIGHT SUPPER ON SUNDAY 26TH August 7.00pm £12.50 each at BUSHEY COMMUNITY CENTRE (within Bushey Golf Club)

- Music Quiz; (was to be on Wed May 9th) is postponed to late season
- Season closes on Sunday September 30th at 5.00pm
- The Annual Dinner and Trophy Presentation will be on Wednesday evening November 7th at 7.00 for 7.30pm at Blue Check.
- The AGM will be on November 25th at Bernays Hall 10.00 for 10.30am prompt.

We are the host Club for the Harrow and District Men's Vets Cup this year. The semi final will occupy our Green on Tuesday 4th September all afternoon (6 triples) from 1.30pm.The final will be on Thursday 6th Sept, and will be three triples from 1.30pm , so spaces is available for some
(quiet) roll-ups.
Helpers for Tea and Biscuits service at 9 ends -served by the Green will be needed. Provided the Green keeper does not require to work on the green there will still be availability on these two mornings for SBC members to bowl.

and we wll have Bowls to try out at Stanmore Society Fete, Bernays Gardens May 27th between 1.30 and 3.30pm
